- Topic of interest here: "There is nothing there". In very remote/low population areas, features such as tracks become very important at low zoom levels (as in this example). But that is not generalisable. Any thoughts?

MichaelCollinson: this map: https://wikimap.wiki/?base=map&lat=0.0000&lon=-0.0000&showAll=true&wiki=enwiki&zoom=3 uses the same concept. it requieres a lot of preprocessing, giving aevery coordinate a weight based on density. you could adapt the calculation to ... well, calculate an isolation level and render based on that.

It is possible to sho the "Null island" in the Map?
https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3815077900#map=19/-0.00020/-0.00012&layers=D
https://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=13010
you mean, the buoy?
Yes!
I guess you can just add that...
the data is there, just not rendered. if we render that buoy, we have to render them all... or maybe all man_made=monitoring_station... I don't think so
OTOH, I would bring that up as a issue on the style
- Thanks!-
Is it a deliberate decision not to draw zebra (and other) crossings on top of the roads they cross?
osm.fr does it
answered in another way: open an issue
is this recorded?
it was experimentally recorded by the SotM team - they're not making any promises :)
There also might be some private recordings
