[11:30] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[11:31] speaker starts the talk
[11:30] too many heads and headroom for the herald
[11:32] short audio dropout
[11:33] slide with little content is full-screen for very long
[11:48] speaker is very small in PIP, lots of headroom (I know Dijkstra cameras are far away ;-)
[11:59] feet of the speaker cut off, too much headroom
[12:14] talk ends, Q&A starts
[12:14] heads (recognizable) walk through image
[12:26] speaker is looking out of the frame for quite some while
[12:31] Q&A ends
-->
Cameras seem very blue-ish (wrong white balance?)
Overall nice switching between slides and PIP, but never used side-by-side preview (would have worked a few times)
Could have used more closeups of the speaker. He looked somewhat lost in the frame
At the end and a few times during the talk there were many heads (recognizable) in the frame

nice and timely mix of side-by-side preview and full-screen
sometimes speaker has some headroom (I know it is hard in Dijkstra ;-) and is not ideally placed in the side-by-side preview.
But overall really really nice cuts and composition!

---- Talk:
Policing in the age of data

--------
[14:03] Long episode of talking without changing slide. Good, because mixer just left sidebyside preview for as long the speaker was talking.
[14:04] Switch of speakers was difficult in fullscreen. A bit shakey, but solved okay.
[14:06] mixer switched from Sidebyside preview to fullscreen while speaker was in the right third of the picture and it was left there about a half minute. a minute later switched back to fullscreen while speaker was in the right.
[14:09] again camera position for cropped picture, but left fullscreen.
[14:10] at last sidebyside preview again to solve the bad composition :3

[14:11] good, hard to read slide is set to fullscreen. and left it for a minute while speaker was explaining smth.
[14:13] slide was held too long on fulscreen at little amount of text.
[14:15] again, mixer set camera for cropped picture to fullscreen and left it there for a very long time
[14:23] too much headpace while both speakers were in the picture.
[14:25] again the camera position for cropped pic.
[14:27] slide with little text held in fullscreen for too long
[14:28] again the camera  captured the speaker in the very right border... and held it like that way too long

[14:30] camera was a little dark when both speakers were visible while they switched talking.

[14:32] long fullscreen slide for a single word. after that good choice of composition and timing while going throug the next slides.
[14:43] good having both speakers in view for q&a, sometimes they were very near to frame borders. maybe zoom out just a tiny bit.

[14:48] lol, very looong q&a, no cuts... i think it's ok for the options of mixer and camera had available.
[15:00] end

[conclusion]
I thought the mic of the woman in yellow was a little quiet sometimes. little big mistakes, while there was much talking single slides sometimes.
exposure and white balance differ extremely between the two (three?) cameras.

[15:14] Stream starting, ordering, there is noise in the background
[15:15] Herald introduces the speaker and talk
[15:16] Speaker starts the talk
[15:19] Speaker talks about a link in the presentation while on full size
[15:38] After long time: speaker shown
[15:46] Slides potential not readable on smaller screens, fullscreen would be appropiate
[~15:53 - Lap crashed] Too much space around the speaker
[15:59] Herald starts Q&A
[16:00] Mixer switched while camera moves
[16:01] Herald without sound
[16:04] Speaker not focused
[16:05] Talk ends

[Conclusion]
The background was noisy. Most of the slides where readable and the speaker often used the mouse to show some parts while the slides where not in fullscreen
More pip would be nice (most slides had space in the lower right corner)

[16:30] herald introduces the speaker and talk
[16:30] speaker starts the talk
[16:36] "Please do not try to read this slide" should be followed by for example side-by-side equal or pip, not fullscreen slides. Especially don't disable pip because a small part of the image is obstructed by pip
[16:39] It's unnecessary to switch to slides fullscreen if there's just one big scentence on the slide
[16:40] Really long slide sequence without view of speaker, consider side-by-side preview if pip obstructs text
[16:41] miscut to full-slides then full-talker
[16:43] Text is obstructed by pip. Even though the text is somewhat small-ish, I think side-by-side would achieve a better picture. Side-By-Side Preview should at least be tried and checked for readability
[16:45] Disabling PIP for a short time to enable the viewer to read the source, then reenabling it introduces unnecessary disturbances to the frame
[16:50] Removing PIP is completely unnecessary
[16:51] Audio stutter | local laptop problem?
[16:52] Haven't seen the speaker for quite some time. This screen is ideal for Side-by-Side Equal
[16:55] Still no speaker on screen
[16:57] Who is doing this talk? It feels like audio podcast + slides
[16:58] Speaker on screen now, PIP is fine but I'd still like to see Side-by-Side Preview, because I think the text remains readable.
[16:59] Fullscreen with one word is ideal for speaker fullscreen or Side-by-Side Equal
[17:00] Another one word slide with PIP
[17:00] His workspace layout is ideal for PIP, it actually looks like it was specifically designed for it. Why fade it out?
[17:03] Black screen for like 5 seconds until noticed and switched
[17:04] Not much interesting happening, Side-By-Side Equal/Preview? Not sure how that would look though
[17:05] Black screen around 2 seconds
[17:05] One-Word slide fullscreen
[17:06] The workspace is still perfect for pip, it really should be used (unless the speaker has left the stage or something, I can't see anything)
[17:07] Can a camera pickup the lights on the hardware? It'd be great to see something
[17:09] Timing of switch to fullscreen slides was a little early. While it's true that he was already talking about the slide, he was still mid-movement and in the middle of the scentence, which makes the switch disturbing.
[17:11] Havn't seen the speaker for 3 minutes although this slide is pretty good for pip/Side By Side
[17:11] Multiple switches back and forth
[17:12] PIP space is there, why not use it?
[17:13] 34C3 Watermark top-right obstructs source-code
[17:15] There's PIP space, but neither it or SideBySide is used
[17:18] I'm repeating myself, but SideBySide?
{17:19] Q/A
[17:19] Breathing sounds on stream
[17:21] He's really close to the edge to the frame, leaving it partly every now and then
[17:22] Camera is shaking
[17:23] While this camera angle was great for the whole talk, he was only on the right quarter of it for the last minute. I would love a adjustment of the camera
[17:24] Switch to ThankYou slide is distracting. If the speaker forgot it, just skip the slide for now.
[17:25] talk ends

[Conclusion]
I really liked the camera angles during the actual talk. The author was wandering from the left to the right, never actually  leaving the frame. It looked naturally and the fact that the camera was not moving improved the atmosphere quite a bit. However the other camera was never used and I'd have loved to see a different zoom level just to change up the picture for example.
Whenever the Herald was there, the change was immediate and looked really good, camera was already in place everything worked great. Later in the Q/A I'd have preferred if the cameras actually moved a bit, since he started to move out of frame partially.
I'd have also preferred to see more of the speaker and smaller slides during the actual talk.
All in all this stream was really good, and even though I've written a lot of minor complaints above the critic I've given is incredibly high level and I've enjoyed watching the stream.

[18:30] online, herald introduces speakers
[18:31] talk starts, camera on wrong person, wiggling camera
[18:33] jerky and sudden movement of camera, maybe more space around speaker due to his unpredictable movement
[18:45] more headspace
[18:50] switch to next speaker, good enough
[18:52] tracking of speaker is good
[18:56] very unpredictable movement of speaker, maybe less zoom or just slides
[19:00] maybe less zoom due to lot movement of speaker, but it is quite ok
[19:12] good tracking of ruedi
[19:15] jerky camera movement at the beginning, better tracking later
[19:19] more headspace
[19:29] end of talk, a wee bit to much headspace
[19:30] offline
--------
talks with ruedi are quite hard due to his unpredictable movement, but it would be better, when he does not run out of frame and when the movement of the camera is smother.

[19:43] online
[19:45] herald introduces speaker and talk, heads in view
[19:45] start of talk, camera was not on speaker
[19:46] good tracking of speaker, but maybe more zoom and view above belt or below feet
[19:48] camera lower below feet
[19:50] too much space around speaker, speaker out of view, tracking of speaker too late and not smooth
[20:02] bad focus on speaker (with bad audio, but this is the speakers fault)
[20:22] speaker on table out off centre, he is looking outside the view. better have both speakers on table in view
[20:30] Q&A with herald, unfocused at the beginning, maybe less space around herald
[20:33] view on speakers on table is good. it was very, very unlucky, that the speaker jumps up and runs out of view
[20:40] too much space around herald, jumping out off view of speaker was a bit unlucky. is not there a third camera for such a cases?
[20:42] too much space around speakers, but perhaps it is good, when the speaker jumps up
[20:45] end of talk and offline
--------
speaker went out of frame often at the beginning, but tracking was better at the end. i would have had one camera on the two speakers at the table and one camera in close-up on the main-speaker, because most of the time, there was too much space around main-speaker. on the otherside, the main-speaker moves a lot. afaik there is a third camera in the room, that can be used, in case of not having a camera with a good view on the current speaker.

(Indented text all refers to too small slides)
21:00  Herald introduces speaker and talk (stream starts in the middle of the intro)
21:01 Speaker starts talk
21:01 Showing the intro slide with PiP might have been nicer
21:03 Background noise in the VOC is slightly annoying to stream observers (various loud discussions) ;-)
21:06 Slide not shown, or way too short.
21:18 Slide should be shown, it would help to follow what the speaker is saying.
21:23 Let VOC know about the too small slides (sorry for the delay) asking them to let the relevant coordinator know.
21:25 This slide is fine with SbS-Preview (Freenet - How Alice and Bob meet)
21:30 Reached the hall manager myself. Told him, he is sending someone to the mixer.
21:38 AN.ON-Next PiP used nicely, thanks. The text is readable now (as far as possible with the font the presenter is using).
21:39 Vuvuzela slide: Presented full screen long enough to read it, nice.
21;39 Loopix slide: Good use of PiP again.
21:42 Q&A starts
21:43 Good swith over to SbS-Preview to show the relevant slide.
21:44 Good cuts to show the herald when relavant and the speaker as well.
21:48 Again: Nice use of SbS-Preview for the relevant slide.
21:55 Overall great handling of the Q&A so far.
22:02 Q&A ends, stream paused

Summary:
Learn to us PiP when it fits to the slide.
You don't need to show the speaker _all_ the time.
Text slides with a text small enough to fit more than 12-14 lines on the slide (especially with fine-lined fonts) are usually not suitable for Side-By-Side Preview!

[22:18] Long presentation of title slide
[22:18] PiP with title slide seems not so reasonable.

[22:28] nice switching betwen supersource and slides
[22:30] would be nice to see the face of the talking person (soon)
[22:31] // Tonfehler...
[22:32] probably too much headroom
[22:32] good picture
[22:33] vertical movement of camera, seem link unstable
[22:37] switch seemed in the middle of a cam movement, this should not be
[22:38] zoom in closer on current speaker (in supersource)
[22:40] would be nice to switch sooner to supersource when speaker changes
[22:48] shaky cam
[22:52] nice overview of every speaker
[22:56] very nice the change in speakers
[23:00] interesting PiP-test but not really good
[23:03] audience people in frame
[23:05] why black frame?
[23:12] framing of talking speaker no very nice
[23:13] maybe too long on last slide
[23:15] too late to herald, people walking through picture
[23:16] end of talk

summary: not easy talk with the number of speakers without a clear order, not so much camera movement when "on air"

[23:49] PiP hides stuff on slide
[23:56] good picture
[23:57] supersource would be better than PiP
[00:04] PiP cuts of a little of the text on the slide
