== DATE: **When exactly are we doing next Hillhacks?
  • locals were adding that dhm is going to be very crowded (and probably hot) from mid-may onwards
  • hasgeek has an event 15th may weekend
  • May 23rd as start seems to be the consensus => which is the one from the sat at hillhacks itself.

  • Rent Ghoomakad for volunteers - 4 rooms, accommodating 6 people, for 6 months - Rs. 48,000. The group agrees with this decision. sva to inform mailing list for extended support.
  • Publish availability of travel grants to Hillhacks along with signups. 
  • Travel expenses team to decide who is awarded the grants. Sva and Hari to be part of this team. Looking for more people to join.
  • Need receipts for everything!
  • Discuss all expenses / budget for Ghoomakad on mailing list.
  • Contribute ideas and comments on the budget:ideas page. 
  • Allocate some budget money for tents and infrastructure for HH 2015.
  • Actual budget of HH 2014 to be shared next week. 
  • 10k Euros should be sufficient to run HH 2015.

  • manish and snehashish are willing to put in time here (they are lawyers)
  • specifiy if you have external funding - yes
  • rudi can take the lead on research on the legal procedure and other details
  • should we setup an ngo in india at all? How much work is to be done on regular basis, for set up. How easy/diff is it to route money from outside?  Even NGOs have to pay service tax now. So shall we rather just use Mindgrep account?
  • Find out how can an NGO/commercial entity in India recieve money from gernan ngo

  • Akiba can be assigned the lead, if he agrees.. Ayush should like to look at the architecture. Ayush cares that a team will be set up.

3rd part: next steps
  • pre-events: 
  • NAME needs to be found - starting discussion on the ML (names of hills in the city???)  - decided, maybe call it hillhacks<insert city name>
  • call for <pre-events> - so that everyone can run events in the city for hillhacks – financial support can also be provided 
  • Who is announcing this? and caring / being main contact point for ppl watning to tdo pre-events (hillacks in $city)
  • sva and zainab, pls join!
  • Ideally, there should be at least one person who has attended hh-13, attending each pre-event
  • one person travelling around?
  • depends on the funding situation and TIME!

hillhacks.in/people should have a list of people who have attended - bernie will send out an email
  • Please fill in your name (and some other details about yourself) on the list

  • Zainab to care for pinging people etc, getting them to add themselves, if they don't do it themselves.
 
==============PROJECTS
  • A template for the projects need to be made TODO Silv3r, Db, Alex
  • Dokuwiki wise - create user pages and each user is allowed to create their personal project pages, which will all then show up on the project page. Projects could be categorised - ongoing,finished, sort ideas etc. - Slv3r, debanjum with Alex to care for this. Users sign up. They fill a form with some details aboud themselves. The profile link goes to /people. The projects that a user adds, go to /projects page and each project has a page of their own as well.
  • Need not be hillhacks-related projects. Even personal projects can be added.
 
 
========Movie
  • Movie is nearing completion.
  • Money handed out to Mallick and Annan to support themselves and for editing the movie.
  • People are invited to join. 
  • Updates likely on the ML soon - TODO sva will follow up (pls remind!)
  • Have the movie ready by Congress. If not, movie should be ready before next HH.

  • Actual schedule went into the wiki. Mail to be sent out to all speakers saying attach your reports/slides/photos etc on the wiki(As links etc) - haseeb and alex
  • Crucial to archive all the slides of talks taken during the event - Alex, Haseeb
  • Blog/Photos : To collect everything at one place. For every blog/photo album add an excerpt and link to blogs outside the hillhacks.in domain - Aruna
  • Collect the Hindustan Times and the Hindi newspaper article and link it there.
  • Photos - David's feed and everyone else's photos. Talk to David, get the entire archive of the photos and maybe push it into the wiki (Don't upload to media manager, upload the entire folder). Collect links to photos publihed by people. 
  • Flickr account - if there's no other choice(Try MediaGoblin)
Someone to take the initiative to ping the speakers regularly to collect the blogs/publications
https://hillhacks.in/media can be an aggregation of all the reports.

  • Timeline - per day. We could use the Twitter timeline and calendar as well. Crowdsource it! - . Start a pad [ sva, zainab, everyone!]
  • Plain facts - can then be elaborated into stories by people, which can then go on Twitter etc.

  • From discussions, best is to shift it to namespace 2014. So /2014 will be a space in its own
  • We could also copy the existing pages and then start editing them.
